Interview with Georgie Crozier, Opposition spokesperson for Health
Hosted by Kirsten Diprose
Diprose says the Vic Department of Health data show the state’s elective surgery list increased. She states the Herald Sun reported there are increases in Melbourne, Albury, Wodonga, La Trobe, Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo, and Shepparton.
She says the Vic Government said spent a record-amount on the health system.
Crozier says the Andrews Government failed to provide funding to hospitals and mismanaged the state budget. She states the Government failed to admit they didn’t keep up with the demands in the health sector.
Diprose says AMA’s Julian Rait suggested the Vic Government should focus less on infrastructure projects in Melbourne. She states Health Minister Jenny Mikakos declined an interview.
