Surgery wait times on Melbourne’s major hospitals are expected to rise by more than 40 per cent due to budget cuts and surgery deal signed by the Andrews Government.
Hospitals affected are the Northern Hospital with a 98 per cent increase in wait time, Albury Wodonga and Latrobe Health Services with 30 per cent increase, Ballarat with 17 per cent increase, Shepparton with 11 per cent increase, and Bendigo with 10 per cent increase.
The Victorian Government denies the blame that mismanagement of funds has put Victorian lives at risk.

Surgery waiting time in Melbourne’s major hospitals are expected to increase by 43 per cent due to fresh surgery deals approved by the Vic Premier Daniel Andrews’ Government.
Shadow Minister for Health Georgie Crozier says the budget cuts made by the Andrews’ Government puts pressure in the affected hospitals.
Northern Hospital will experience a 98 per cent increase in waiting time, while Albury Wodonga and Latrobe Health Services with over 30 per cent. Ballarat by 17 per cent, Shepparton 11n per cent and Bendigo with 10 per cent.
Labor MP Jaala Pulford says the information about the budget cuts is not true. Andrews states the waiting time disclosed are exaggerated and illogical.
