At Barwon Child, Youth & Family's new office and facilities to meet CEO Sandy Morrison, manager Early Years - Barb Hayes, team leader - Kim Coulter and community relations manager Adam Cassidy.
Barwon Child, Youth & Family is improving community services for children, young people and families in Geelong and right across the Barwon community. The new agency was formed in August after the successful merger between three of Geelong's most respected community service providers: Barwon Youth, Glastonbury Community Services and Time for Youth.
The objectives of the merger were not necessarily about becoming a bigger agency, but more about becoming a facility that is better equipped to provide stronger support services to the most complex and at risk children, young people and families across the region.Clients and all too frequently have multiple needs.
Barwon Child, Youth & Family will allow for a much more integrated service delivery - meaning that people can get access to a diverse suite of services catering for individuals and families of all ages.
