Keeping Children Safe - 20th anniversary of the Port Arthur tradegy

On the 28th of April 1996 a tragedy occurred at Port Arthur in Tasmania.

On this day, 35 people lost their lives and many more were injured.

It was a day that changed our nation forever.

I joined the Alannah & Madeline Foundation Founding Patrol, Walter Mikac, John Bertrand AM and community leaders and survivors of Port Arthur, to commemorate the lives affected by violence on that day.

Great to join Founder of the Alannah&Madeline Foundation, Walter Mikac and Michael Roberts at a Candlelight Vigil in Federation Square aimed at Keeping Children Safe
