An elected Liberal Nationals Government will invest $50,000 for a new masterplan at Bayswater North's Arrabri Community House, Arrabri Kindergarten and associated facilities at the Canterbury Gardens site.

The new masterplan will lead the improvement of the current facilities, consider a new children's and community hub, and improve the integration of sporting facilities in Canterbury Gardens.

Currently more than 25 community groups use the site and a Liberal Nationals Government will work with Maroondah City Council to ensure that the best outcome for the site is delivered.

Only the Liberal Nationals will invest in our community spaces so they can be utilised by all ages of the Bayswater Community.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Families and Children, Georgie Crozier:

"Heidi Victoria has worked tirelessly to ensure this funding goes where it's needed most.

The Liberals are committed to investing in our community services and this masterplan is the first step towards that."

Comments attributable to Member for Bayswater, Heidi Victoria:

"Wonderful things happen at Arrabri and Canterbury Gardens, and I want to make sure they continue to happen.

The learning, development and growth that occurs in the community house and kindergarten are outstanding. I love what they do, and want to help them do more."
