Multi Million Dollar Reserve Upgrade Opens

In March Georgie attended the official opening of the $4.23 million Marina Reserve Family Park in St Kilda with Port Phillip Councillor Serge Thomann and professional skateboarders Renton Millar and Keegan Palmer, who at 9 years old is the under 18 Australian Bowl Champion.

The completed design and construction works included a new skate park and viewing area, picnic and play area, gathering space with seating and landscaping, a new accessible walking path, public toilets and improved environmental features.

The Marina Reserve upgrade provides a great community space, where many people will establish new connections and networks and strengthen those that are already in place. The Masterplan also provides for potential community events that could be conducted in the space including small markets, kite flying and even dog training.
