Pink Lady at the MCG
Written on the 10 May 2014
Melbourne lit up on May 10 and football took a back seat as the hallowed turf of the MCG was transformed into a Pink Lady that brought the statistics of breast cancer to life.
I joined Minister for Health David Davis, Minister for Community Services and Mental Health Mary Wooldridge, Coalition colleagues and 15,000 women, men and children representing the number of people who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
The event was organised by Breast Cancer Network Australia, the peak national organisation for Australians personally affected by breast cancer. BCNA works to ensure that those effected receive the very best support.
Visit www.bcna.org.au to find out more about programs and services.
