Daniel Andrews' soft touch on crime and his loss of control of the youth gangs crisis continues to cost Victorian taxpayers' dearly.
Taxpayers are now spending an extra $64.8 million on youth justice since 2014 and yet the youth gang crisis has got worse, not better. That's a 90% increase in spending for a worse result. Not only is the youth gang crisis costing taxpayers almost double what was being spent in 2014, but Victorians are also picking up the tab for repairs to youth justice centres trashed in over 50 riots under Daniel Andrews.
The Andrews Labor Government has slugged taxpayers with 12 new or increased taxes some of which is now being used to fix the youth gang crisis.
Victorians can't afford another four years of Labor's mismanagement of youth justice.
