Funding for Mums Supporting Families in Need

In Seaford visiting the dedicated team at 'Mums Supporting Families in Need.'

These talented women support thousands of vulnerable Victorian families every year.

If elected, the Liberal Coalition will commit $100,000 to assist the volunteer-run organisation so it can continue to provide thousands of disadvantaged families with the basics - from car seats to food.

I loved meeting Founder of MSFIN, Jodie Harris and her team. Jodie and President Donna Cartwright work with more than 60 volunteers. They provide essential equipment to struggling Victorian families and families in crisis in partnership with community support and welfare organisations.

After a personal encounter with a mother in crisis, Jodie started Mums Supporting Families In Need five years ago. Initially working from her lounge room and with a select group of local support services, Mums Supporting Families In Need now services 70 agencies from their Seaford warehouse.
